Spring Break is over...and it's in the 80's here in Texas!

Spring Break is over and Tan sure is glad he can get back to his nap schedule!

Cole & Tan on Monday after he got home from school.  Cole is "star" student of the week and wanted a picture of the two of them for his poster.  Some items from his poster were:  Favorite thing to do -- play baseball ** Something you might not know about me -- I play the piano and like rock climbing ** Hero -- Josh Hamilton  (Texas Rangers)

For the pre-season 9U 2AA scrimmages Cole's team is 6-0.
The preseason tournament begins March 22.

Cole's team got to practice with the Varsity Baseball team in Frisco at Heritage High School.  The boys were so excited!  The video above is Cole running to 3rd base.

Amazing Jake's -- Spring Break

We went to Amazing Jake's with my mom and my neice Andy.  We stayed all day and the kids had a great time.  We can't wait to go back!

Valentine's Day Class Parties...

Cole's class went from classroom to classroom to play various games.  Above he is trying to place candy hearts from one cup to another with chop sticks.

Since Chandler is in middle school...they didn't have a class party.  :(

The NFL Experience -- Dallas, TX Feb 2011

After 4 days of snow, ice, no school and freezing temperatures that we just aren't used to in Texas, Bill and I took the kids to the NFL Experience.  We had to wait in line in the cold for an hour to get into the Convention Center, but it was worth it.  The kids had a great time, and we did too!

The girls...Kennedy, Casey, Taylor & Chandler pretending to be fans at the Superbowl!

The boys.....Cole & Cooper pretending to be at the game.

 Cowboy's locker room exhibit....

Cole participated in Play60 at the NFL Experience.  Two NFL players and several Play60 volunteers held a 60 minute flag football clinic.  We saw several players....Superbowl MVP Kurt Warner, former Dallas Cowboy Jay Novacek and the kids got autographs and pictures with Dallas Cowboy Sean Lee.

The last few months in pictures....

It's been quite hectic with closing on the new house two days before Christmas, then moving, Christmas shopping,Kennedy's birthday, Bill's birthday, my birthday, New Years Eve, painting the new house, ice, snow, flu, going back to school, ice, snow.....but below are a few pictures of the last month and a half....

Cole playing Happy Birthday on the Piano to me.  He is such a sweet boy!

My birthday....Bill had some trick candle that just about blew up the cake...as you can see.  He started the video a little late.  But it was funny.  See the video below:

Me and the kids after we scraped the soot off the cake.

Cole holding an autographed baseball card that he had Torii Hunter sign at our local varsity basketball game.

Bill & Cole...the hats say it all.
The kids playing in the driveway.  Bill lets them play in the street when I'm not around.  :)

Chandler and her art teacher.  Chandler's picture was chosen to be displayed around the community at various businesses.

Chandler & Cole with Mrs. Hadfield (their piano teacher) at their Christmas performance in December.
Owning a painting company means that your house can not look like snow valley aka "white" throughout.  So needless to say the whole inside of the house has been painted with the exception of a couple of the bedrooms.  The pictures above and below are of one of our crews on the scaffolding as Bill pushes it from below.
 Looks pretty scary to me!
Looks pretty scary to D'Artagnan as well.  He's looking up because Bill is up there!@?&  He's usually sleeping in his bed most of the day, but since Bill was involved, Tan needed to be right in the middle of it all.  Yep...he got paint on his fur more than once or twice.
